PMA A-NZ Bring Good Marketing to the Front

This Wednesday 16 May, The Produce Marketing Association Australia-New Zealand (PMA A-NZ) is hosting a free industry forum and networking drinks in Melbourne for members and their guests.

The event will take place from 4-6.30pm at the Imperial Hotel and will be headlined by a presentation from Nielsen Director of Innovation – Thais Gill.

Thais’ presentation will focus on successful marketing techniques and the 12 factors that are common to every winning product launch.

Nielson have honed the science of a successful product launch across six years of R&D research into 600 launches. The results – a formula that ensures a 75% chance of success in market.

“Understanding these metrics is key for those thinking of launching new products and even considering being more successful with your existing ones,” said Renee Mariette, PMA A-NZ’s Head of Marketing.

Thais has over 15 years of Market Research experience, having worked in new product development and brand renovation across multiple countries such as Japan, Brazil, Argentina, New Zealand, Malaysia and China. Thais has worked across a wide range of FMCG categories including fresh foods. Prior to joining Nielsen, she worked at Ipsos and Moet and Chandon.

Opening a dialogue and networking between PMA A-NZ members, industry experts and other non-member produce professionals will be a key focus throughout the evening.

“At the end of the day, PMA A-NZ exists to connect people and ideas that can help make your opportunities bigger and your problems smaller,” said PMA A-NZ CEO Darren Keating.
