PMA A-NZ Media Release

The Produce Marketing Association Australian-New Zealand (PMA A-NZ) is today launching the Marketing Exchange – a platform to empower and connect industry marketers and marketing enthusiasts and help them achieve optimal results for their business.

PMA A-NZ and the Value Creation Taskforce have recognised a lack of supportive networking for industry marketers to learn, connect and share knowledge. The community will enable expertise sharing and leadership, provide access to marketing insights and offer valuable tools and resources to maximum ROI from your marketing budget.

‘The competitive nature of marketing has driven a lack of connection in the field but what we need most is support. Marketers have much to gain from each other’, said Renée Mariette, Head of Marketing at PMA A-NZ. The PMA A-NZ Marketing Exchange is designed to raise the bar of the collective, helping to drive fresh produce and floral marketers to best in class,’ adds Ms Mariette.

The PMA A-NZ Marketing Exchange will be owned by you, for you! Expert guests will deliver informative webinars, and members of the community will be encouraged to share research papers and offer insightful thought leadership. PMA A-NZ will provide links to the latest whitepapers and industry reports to keep you updated on trends, innovations and best practice marketing.

Matthew Crouch, Group Marketing Manager at Freshmax, 2016 Marketer of the Year winner and member of the Value Creation Taskforce is enthusiastic about building a collaborative and inclusive marketers forum.

‘If we are truly motivated to develop and drive fresh produce brands that challenge consumers’ choices surrounding health and wellbeing, we must do it collectively as well as in isolation if we are to maximise impact. The creation of the PMA A-NZ Marketing Exchange will precipitate the conversation of knowledge and innovation sharing across the industry. The challenge is what comes next, and I for one am excited to be a part of it,’ said Mr Crouch.

The initial phase of this program will be a six-month pilot to hone in on a strategy that adds value to you and your business. Eligibility is based on an active PMA A-NZ membership. PMA A-NZ are very excited to launch the Marketing Exchange and encourage all marketers and marketing enthusiasts to join. Click here to join today.
