Jump on board as Hort Connections tours the best of South Australian retail spaces

With only six weeks to go before Hort Connections kicks off in Adelaide, all signs are pointing towards this being ‘the’ industry event to attend in 2017. Organisers are thrilled that this year’s exhibitor numbers have exceeded all expectations and the conference program is overflowing with fresh insights and forward thinking perspectives designed to prepare your business for a bigger and better tomorrow.

The Hort Connections conference aims to deliver the latest information and hottest trends to arm delegates with the tools they need to grow their businesses. Conference sessions have been carefully selected to cover up-to-the-minute subjects and topics ranging from ‘Marketing and Branding, ‘Innovation’, ‘Global Developments’, ‘HARPS’, ‘Online shopping growth, ‘People Power’ and ‘Value Adding’ just to name a few. As part of the conference program, PMA A-NZ are also offering a highly valuable and informative Adelaide Retail Tour.

The Adelaide Retail Tour: Mastering the Art of Fashionable Fresh, is a great way to experience truly innovative concepts in fresh produce retailing. Departing from the Adelaide Convention Centre on Tuesday afternoon at 12.30pm, this tour will visit the Frewville Foodlands store, international retailer of the year for two years running. Their vision reaches far beyond being just a food retailer with their concept store designed to inspire even the most novice of foodies. The Frewville Foodlands store will truly inspire with a creative and well-designed fresh focus, bakery, deli, butcher and florist.

Next stop on the Adelaide Retail Tour will be the Adelaide Central Markets: winner of the 2016 South Australia Tourism Award and Adelaide’s food hub for over 140 years. A bustling, colourful and aromatic place with over 80 stalls under 1 roof. This tour will take you on a sensory interactive gourmet experience, giving you an opportunity to try a range of products, meet the stall holders, learn about what makes their customers tick and experience the multicultural influences in South Australian retail.

The tour will end at 4.30pm, returning you to the Adelaide Convention Centre where you can visit the Hort Connections exhibition or check out the afternoon concurrent conference sessions. The tour cost is $90 + GST per person and includes a packed lunch, travel, well-informed tour guides, tastings and coffee or tea.
