Australian Biosecurity Intelligence Network
Through free registration, this site provides ‘real time’ access to data, information and know-how, and use of leading edge tools and technologies to generate biosecurity intelligence.

Australian Biosecurity Services Group
The Biosecurity Services Group integrates the functions of the Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service; Biosecurity Australia; the biosecurity parts of Product Integrity, Animal and Plant Health division; and the Quarantine and Biosecurity Policy Unit.

Australian Quarantine Inspection Service
AQIS manages quarantine controls at Australian borders to minimise the risk of exotic pests and diseases entering the country. AQIS also provides import and export inspection and certification to help retain Australia’s highly favourable animal, plant and human health status and wide access to overseas export markets.

Biosecurity Australia
Biosecurity Australia provides science based quarantine assessments and policy advice that protects Australia’s favourable pest and disease status and enhances Australia’s access to international animal and plant related markets.

Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Plant Biosecurity
The CRC aims to provide leadership in the development, execution and delivery of plant biosecurity research. This site includes information on research and educational programs, an extensive list of links to Biosecurity resources, and an extensive list of research publications.

DAFF Biosecurity Bulletin
The new Biosecurity Bulletin (formerly known as the AQIS Bulletin) contains stories about Biosecurity Services Group (BSG) events, pest and disease discoveries and news for importers and exporters, as well as amusing, interesting and sometimes alarming quarantine seizures from our airports, seaports and mail centres.  The colourful quarterly publication is the easiest way to stay up–to–date on BSG activities, issues and news.

DAFF Biosecurity page
This page provides vital biosecurity information for small and large rural landholders, regardless of your farming interests. It provides a simple explanation of what biosecurity is and how to keep weeds, pests and disease off your property. There is also specific information available for where you live.

National pests & disease outbreaks register
Contains information on pest and disease outbreaks by region, and response plans.

PaDIL Plant Biosecurity Toolbox
The Plant Biosecurity Toolbox (PBT) provides detailed, web-based diagnostic information to assist with the rapid identification of exotic plant pests and diseases in the event of an incursion.

Pests and Diseases Image Library
Offering high-quality colour diagnostic images and information on pests and diseases along with a number of comparative native species.

Plant Health Australia
Plant Health Australia is the lead national coordinating body for plant health in Australia.
We work in partnership with industry, governments, researchers and others, providing national coordination to improve biosecurity policy and practice across Australia’s plant industries and to build capacity to respond to plant pest emergencies.

Plant Health Australia: Emergency Plant Pest Response Deed
The ratification of the EPPRD in 2005 significantly increased Australia’s capacity to respond to EPP incursions. The key advantage of the EPPRD is more timely, effective and efficient response to plant pest incursions, while minimising uncertainty over management and funding arrangements.

Plant Health Australia: Pest Information Document Database
The Pest Information Document Database contains the pest-specific documents developed as part of Industry Biosecurity Plans (IBPs). These documents provide background and emergency response information on a number of the High Priority Pests of Australia’s plant industries.

Vital information for plant producers: Biosecurity
A DAFF publication offering advice and biosecurity tips to help minimise the risk of a weed, pest or disease making it onto your property.
