Friday, 25 April 2014 | Posted in Industry Issues by Erin Hart

Food wastage is a significant issue for the fresh produce industry in Australia, New Zealand, and around the world. If your business is looking to tackle this issue, check out the Best Practices and Emerging Solutions Toolkit, released by the Food Waste Reduction Alliance in the US as part of their effort to help the food industry reduce food waste.

The toolkit includes best practices and strategies for measuring and managing food waste by keeping it out of landfills, overcoming donation challenges and reducing the generation of food waste to begin with.
