New resources available on the explosive Chinese market

Friday, 1 March 2013 | Posted in China by Erin Hart

Fresh produce production, consumption and trade have all grown substantially in China in recent years. With increased disposable income, urbanisation and food safety concerns, the Chinese are consuming more exports. Because China is not a single market, but a jigsaw of small overlapping markets separated by geography, culture, cuisine, demographics and dialects, there is no single formula for success in China.

PMA Global has created a series of resources on the dynamic Chinese market, including a market overview, plus insights on the retail environment, local production, import protocols and much more.

Check out the full list of resources here.

PMA's first Fresh Connections in China, held in Shanghai 18-19 March 2013, has really brought home how important this market is for A-NZ members, not only as a potential market for produce and services but because of its global influence in the coming decades.
